Ms. Isha Yadav ,Department of Enviroment Science awarded as Certificate of excellence by NIESBUID,Ministry of Skill Dveleopment and Enterpreneurship,Govt. of India
 

The IIHMR University, Jaipur, in collaboration with the United Nation's Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), organized an all-India online essay-writing competition on the occasion of World Health Day on 7 April, on ‘Food Safety’.The entry by Shiromi Chaturvedi, B.Sc. Hons. Sem. 5, titled “Food Safety and Consumer Protection” was adjudged the winning essay, coming in at the 2nd place. The cash prize awarded to her for this position was Rs. 2,100/-.

All India CS Foundation Examination June 2015 Toppers 

 

The IIS University congratulates the students of B.Com.(Hons.)(Professional) CS for scoring positions at All India Level in the CS Foundation Examination, June, 2015.

Tanushree singh & Riddhima Pareek were awarded for their campus company "Ether Alliance".The company bagged Third position under "People's choice award " category.

"Mélange of Wonders”. All India Jewellery Design Awards JAS-13 by Jewellers Association show,Jaipur

Results of the "“mélange of wonders”" (Jewellery Design Competition organized by JAS 2013) were announced on 17/07/2013. Simran Tak student of Bsc. Jewellery design & technology will get 11000/- as second prize. The entries were invited from the jewellery designer  and students of Jewellery institutes  all over India. The selected designS will be showcased during the show at Birla auditorium, Jaipur.

 

 

 

A competition – “JEWELS OF RAJASTHAN “ (ALL INDIA JEWELLERY DESIGN COMPETITION) was organized by the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IIGJ), Jaipur . The entries were invited from the students of Jewellery institutes all over India. The overall theme of this year is “Revival for Contemporary” and two sub themes are "Next Generation Jewellery" and "Fusion Jewellery". Out of the total entries of 250 participants,  student  Roshni Sharma was rewarded second prize in the competition  from the IIS University.

The selected designs were manufactured in Gold & Diamond ,the products will then be displayed in the upcoming Jewellery Show "JAS13" at Birla Auditorium , Jaipur.

 

The IIS University takes pride in announcing the huge success of its B.Com. (Hons.) (Prof.) CS Semester–II students clearing professional examination. It’s the third consecutive batch, of whom more than 90% of the students cracked the CS Foundation Exam held in December 2012, in their first attempt. Out of thirty five students who appeared for the Exam, thirty three students cleared it.

Yet another success story was written by our second batch of students of B.Com. (Hons.) (Prof.) CS (Sem –IV). Out of 20 students who took CS Executive Examination in December 2012, twelve have cleared both the groups and four students cleared single group in their first attempt !

'Astitva 2013', a national level jewellery design contest was organized by League of Fashion in Bangalore. Lakshita Goel Student of Jewellery Design Department , The IIS University, Jaipur  was rewarded second prize in the competition & bagged the cash prize of Rs 50,000.  This event had participants from 52 Design Institutes across 24 cities of India. The Chief Guest for the day were Mr. Anand Singh  Honorable Minister of Tourism and Mr. Raju Gowda , Honorable Minister of Small Scale Industries(Govt. Of Karnataka) .

IMAGINATION 2011-12 : Jewellery Design Competition by P.D. Institute,Jaipur

Results of the "Imagination 2011-12" (Jewellery Design Competition organized by P.D. Instituted) were announced today. Simran Tak (Bsc. Jewellery design & technology) will get Honda Activa as second prize &  Shraddha Kochar (advanced diploma) will get Refrigerator as fourth prize.

 

 

Lakshita Goyal’s(Jewellery Design Elective Sem I)design was selected amongst the top eight Jewellery Designs in the National level contest named ‘Indian Heritage Theme Contest for Jewellery Design’,organized by the Indian League Of Fashion, Bangalore.

Congratulations to our students of B.Com. (Hons.) Prof. for their outstanding performance in the IPCC Exams held in June, 2012.  Khyati Shukla,  B.Com. (Honours) Professional- CA
It was a proud moment for The IIS University, Jaipur and Khyati Shukla, a student of the first batch of B.Com (Hons.) Professional – CA, when she presented a Paper on “Audit Documentation and Audit Evidences” at the 11th Central India CA Students Regional Conference held at Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Jaipur on 30-31 December 2011.
Her Paper was highly appreciated and was adjudged the Best Paper by very senior professionals and experts from the field. She was also honoured with the title of one of the Best Speakers at the Conference, selected from more than 80 papers from across India.

Garima Poonia – B.A. (Honours) Sem.VI was among the Top 15 candidates selected at the Regional level to participate in the Cambridge ESOL ‘Best Speaker of Cambridge English in Asia’ Competition 2011 on the basis of her high score in the third level

 

 

Business English Certificates (BEC) Higher Tests of English, esp. in the Speaking Test in March 2011. In this level of competition held at British Council, New Delhi on 20 August 2011, she figured in the Top 3 out of 20 competing participants on the basis of her 4-minute Prepared (Powerpoint) Presentation and went on to make a place for herself in the Top 50% thus qualifying for the second round of Impromptu Presentation. Garima has finally been shortlisted for the National Finals to be held in Chennai in April 2012.

 Priti Saini and Sonal Jain  (environmental science) received third prize in the Science Fair –model exhibition and competition held on 15 February, 2012 at IMET Jaipur.
 
 Jasnoor Kaur (political science)of semester VI has been working towards the strengthening of people- to- people contact in India and Pakistan as a means of Track Two Diplomacy. Jooshradio is a collaborated radio between India and Pakistan. Jasnoor is working as an administrator of the website and also as an RJ. Joosh radio is an online radio working with the incentive not only to entertain people but also bridge the gaps between both the countries.

The IIS University takes pride in declaring the huge success of its B.Com (Hons.) (Prof.) (CS) students in CS Foundation Exam held in December, 2011. Out of 31 students, who appeared for the exam, 29 students cleared the exam in the first attempt. We are proud of their achievement.

 

 Tabinda Rafique from MA Economics Semester II of The IIS University participated in the debate competition organized by Department of Urdu & Persian, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur on the topic ‘The Relevance of the Bill of Anna Hazare in a Democracy” on January 10, 2012. The participant spoke against the topic and bagged 3rd Prize.
